Quick answers
How do I navigate the app?
Use the bottom tab bar: Today (daily devotional), Plans (reading plans), Library (book browser), Context (people, places, eras), Journal (private entries), and Settings.
How do I see the Greek or Hebrew behind a word?
Tap any verse to expand the interlinear view, then tap an individual word to see its lemma, transliteration, Strong's number, morphology, and gloss.
Do I need an account or internet connection?
No. Vivid works entirely offline after install. There is no login and no account — all your data (journal, progress, settings) lives on your device.
How do I change the appearance?
Open Settings and tap Appearance. You can choose Dark, Light, Sepia, or System, plus an accent color.
How do I search the Bible?
Open Library and tap the search icon in the header to search verse text across all 66 books. Inside a book, tap the search icon in that book's header to search within the book.
Is my data backed up?
Your data is stored only on your device. If you delete the app, your journal and progress are lost. We recommend keeping a separate note of anything important to you.
